  2. 2

    Choose installation location

Mount inside a dry, ventilated enclosure. Leave 10 mm clearance around the labelled terminals.

  3. 3

    Mount the unit

Use the mounting holes, or clip onto a 35 mm DIN-rail. Same footprint as v1.

  4. 4

    Switch off mains power

Important, isolate the 230 V circuit before wiring either relay output.

  5. 5

    Connect 12V DC input

Wire the supplied 1.5A adapter to V+ and GND. Polarity-protected.

  6. 6

    Wire the loads

    v2 has two independent relays: CH1 COM/NO and CH2 COM/NO. Keep each channel under 2 A.

  7. 7

    Power on & check LEDs

PWR LED solid; WIFI LED blinks during hotspot mode. CH1/CH2 LEDs show relay state.

  8. 8

    Join the device hotspot

Connect to apiHW-FlapV2-XXXX on your phone, no password in setup mode.

Safety & precautions

Troubleshooting

Can I use v2 to replace a v1 in an existing install?
Yes, the mounting and power wiring are identical. You’ll need to re-pair the remote and reconfigure Wi-Fi.
Can one button on the remote control both channels?
Yes, set its Scene to Both in the web UI’s remote mapping page.
OTA update failed mid-way, what now?
The unit auto-rolls-back to the previous firmware on the next power cycle. If it remains stuck, hold RESET for 10 s to enter recovery mode and retry from the web UI.
